So what you’re hearing starts with a friend of a friend.
Back in 2018, MC introduced me to her childhood friend, Eliza. By then she was already making waves in New York City with Plumerai, a project respected in the Brooklyn indie-pop scene.
I was asked to remix *Sunshine*—and honestly, that meant a lot.
In our little electronic corner, especially when you spend most of your time making club-oriented music, getting the chance to work with vocals and lyrics always feels like a different kind of exercise… and a lot of fun.
So I grabbed a mic, hit record, kept Eliza’s voice and some of her harmonies, then started playing percussion on every resonating surface I could find around me.
Then a healthy amount of effects… just because.
