Over the past months, we’ve been carrying out community-led research in Galicia, supported by @yeenetwork through the Bridging Movements project 🌿
Together, we explored one central question:
What are young people in rural Galicia actually experiencing and how can we build stronger connections and support around it?
@xanogz took on the coordination and implementation of this project and has now written a deeply personal reflection on the process, the conversations, and what emerged from them.
From disappearing fireflies and flooded fields, to loneliness, communal land, and the search for belonging, the article explores how ecological and social crises are deeply connected, and what this could mean for building a stronger rewilding movement in Galicia.
“The future is rural. The future is communal.”

We are excited to announce our latest programme - the European Climate Mobility Justice Academy (ECMJA)! 🌍
The ECMJA is an interactive online course, in collaboration with Climate Outreach, Climate and Migration Coalition and Youth and Environment Europe (YEE), that brings together expert insights and active participant engagement to explore one of the defining challenges of our time - climate mobility - in a European context.
How we understand climate-driven movement shapes the solutions we build. The Academy offers more than knowledge; it creates a space to rethink, question, and engage with climate mobility in Europe through a critical, justice-oriented lens. ⚖️

🌱 explore the intersections of climate, inequality, and migration through a justice lens
🌱 critically assess EU legal and policy frameworks and identify existing gaps
🌱 challenge dominant narratives and unpack how media and politics shape perceptions of climate migration
🌱 engage with real-world case studies and emerging policy debates
🌱 connect with a diverse network of researchers, practitioners, and policymakers
If you are a researcher, student, policymaker, or practitioner working at the intersection of climate change, migration, human rights, or social justice and want to deepen your perspective, challenge dominant narratives, and contribute to more just responses, this opportunity is FOR YOU! 🫵

We are excited to share an incredible youth-led initiative from Armenia. 🇦🇲✨
Meet ReThink, an intellectual educational board game created entirely by young participants from the “Check it Before YOU(th) Share it” project! 🎲💡
Designed for teenagers (aged 12+), the game helps strengthen media literacy, fact-checking, and critical thinking skills.
Check it, Share it, Rethink! 🧠✨
The “ReThink” board game was developed with financial support provided through a sub-grant from the Konrad Adenauer Foundation within the Fact-Checking Clubs Program.
