Creating this piece for Nike in honor of Women’s History Month is a moment I’ll never forget. I wanted every woman who sees it to feel truly seen, valued, and represented. To know that their strength, their story, and their presence matter.
The wings symbolize Nike, the goddess of victory formed by swooshes to represent movement, resilience, and triumph. I chose the color of the Statue of Liberty as a tribute to New York and the NY Liberty team both symbols of freedom, power, and the unbreakable spirit of women.
This one is for us. For every woman breaking barriers, walking her own path, and making history in her own way. Thank you, Nike, for giving me the opportunity to tell this story through my art.
