With Dr. Karla (@vetbibles ) guiding us through real-life scenarios (and Bunny & Wolfie stealing hearts along the way 🐶), we picked up the kind of skills every pet parent hopes they never need but should always have. The first time I walked in, it was chaos — 22 different personalities. Skittish dogs freezing on the leash, unsure of everything around them. We stripped it back to basics. Sit. Structure. Movement. Exposure. From quiet streets to busy roads, from people to cafés — repetition, consistency, and patience. Today, they’re calm, social, and stable. Good with kids, adults, even cats. Ready for adoption. Grateful to Isabelle, Priti, and Tanushree — not just for trusting the process, but for backing it fully. Health checks for all 22 dogs, proper gear, and the kind of support that actually makes this work possible. Some souls walk into your life… and end up changing its entire direction. Say hi to Mia! ✨🌱 We adopted her from a shelter thinking we were giving her a home… but in truth it was her who taught us how to live with more humour, hunger (oh the snacks she stole 😅), and “yes-to-life” energy than we ever thought possible. ❤️ She was goofy, wise, stubborn, wildly sensitive, and somehow always knew when to nudge you towards joy and adventure, as little as they may be. 🦋 She became my teacher long before I realised it. When she passed in my arms almost a year ago, I promised her that ✨ Her spirit wouldn’t stay small or stay ours. ✨ Her curiosity and happiness will be the driving force. ✨ Her joy, her courage, and her ridiculous zest for being alive would move forward through me, through all of us, through the work we do. The YeahYeahYeah Fur& Forest Foundation exists because of her. Mia is the real founder, the one who pushed us onto this path before I ever had the words for it. Without Mia, we wouldn’t be doing any of this. She didn’t just change our home. She changed our direction. ❤️☺️ Everything we build now carries her light and her legacy forward.
