Pennsylvania puts more kids in adult jails and prisons than any other state.
Do you think it’s because of the type of Judges we elect or the fact kids aren’t being treated like the kids they are.

Wondering what happened to the old West Building? A city that doesn’t value education or declare gun violence a public health crisis encourages it. Will see over crowded schools that can’t accommodate educational needs in 2027! Will see schools operating like jails to accommodate the chaos 😒

You gotta listen to the youngins! Their experiences on juvenile probation reveal the harmful impact it has on their mental health and decision making abilities often prioritizing punishment over true rehabilitation and accountability. It’s time for you to learn from them and advocate for something new! You don’t need to be a politician to have a voice and do something meaningful. They sold a whole High School behind our back for the cost of a Range Rover!
It’s 2026 and marks a pivotal moment for us ppl as Philly students & underpaid educators prepare for chaos again. But this isn’t a new thing it echos the past when Germantown High was SECRETLY sold for just $100,000.
Yup $100k and developers transformed it into housing units that ppl can’t afford signaling more gentrification per usual.
They definitely failed to uplift the neighborhood or support our school district needs. We gotta learn from history and make a move youngin’s. Lead by yalllllll!
Lead. Disrupt. Inspire
Small Black nonprofits in Philadelphia are deeply disappointed by the lack of support from major corporations, influential & wealthy individuals in lack of fight to save Philly neighborhood schools from closing.
We keep claiming kids hold the key to our future & emphasizing the importance of education, but as you can see their silence/absence reveals a disconnect between words and actions per usual!
You don’t want to invest in their education or support the communities that nurture them.
You want to turn books into buildings. Poverty into power and control.
