Ever wonder how events like Sal’s or Spring Fling take place in a tiny town like El Portal? Or how dunk tanks magically appear at Oktoberfest? The YEA board makes all that magic happen :) We are volunteers who take a little extra time to work together and give back to this awesome community. Bears are active in El Portal neighborhoods! Whether you see them regularly or not, they are your neighbors! El Portal has amazing natural foods and habitat for bears, but being around people can lead to conflicts that can harm property, people, and bears. Help us protect these lil cuties 🐻

Last weekend we had the absolute honor of playing the Spring Fling for the folks who keep Yosemite National Park alive and thriving 🌲✨ If you’ve ever stood in that valley, looking up at those cliffs, those waterfalls, that wild, untouched beauty, you know it’s something beyond words. Yosemite is one of the most breathtaking places on Earth, a massive protected wilderness filled with granite giants, ancient trees, and life everywhere you look . But here’s the truth… that magic doesn’t just happen on its own. It exists because of the people. The community that showed up for that party, the employees, the lifers, the seasonal crew, some of the most genuine, joyful, beautiful humans we’ve ever met. You all KNOW how to celebrate life 🕺💃 Huge love to @the_thinman for bringing us into that world, and to the Yosemite Employee Association @yeaforus for throwing a party we’ll never forget. And we gotta say this loud!!! To the park rangers, not just in Yosemite, but all across this country, THANK YOU. You protect some of the most sacred land we have. You educate, you rescue, you preserve, you hold it all together. And you’re doing it while funding and resources are stretched thinner than they should be. We are beyond grateful to have shared music in a place like that, with people like you.
