‘Sudan Nights’ is a song about Sudan and its beauty. I’ve already spoken so much from a war perspective. We have to address the pain and trauma — especially when it feels like the world is turning a blind eye.But we come from so much more:the warmth, the beauty, the community, the sand, the Nile!We are more than refugees, more than colonised or traumatised beings — we are resilient, strong, loving, mystical.And I will share our joy, our stories, our music.I’m just a vessel, humbled by this fascinating experience we call life,where God uses us to shine their light on the world.Alhamdulilah Artwork by @yasepicsMUA: @dontcry_bekawaiiSong creditsProduced by @all1ne_Mix, master by @ydemierre

‘Sudan Nights’ is a song about Sudan and its beauty. I’ve already spoken so much from a war perspective. Am 25/10/24 kam “HUD - Herz Über Denim” raus.Ein Projekt woran ich lang gearbeitet hab, aber das letzte Jahr war so verrückt dass ich es nicht die Energie geben konnte wie ich wollte.Aus vielerlei Gründen kam ich daher nicht dazu das ganze zu posten und zu beschreien.Hört es euch an, solange ihr noch könnt.Ich hoffe dem ein oder anderem gefällt es!S/O @sorcovelli_ für seine Geduld und Produktion!S/O @ydemierre fürs Mastering!S/O @homagebeats for inspiring my pen

These are all pictures of family members.From my mom & dad to my aunts, uncles, grandmother & grandfathers.The song ‘Ameen’ is about how I experience the current state of my country Sudan.Through the lens of someone in a privileged position.Being lucky enough to have escaped all that everyone there is going through, yet not being able to be present in your own life because of feeling for your people.Worrying about their well being.This is a feeling many of us are going through right now.I wanted to make a song from the perspective of the diaspora, of me, so I did.In the form of a prayer. ‘Ameen’ my latest release is now available on all platforms.Luxe love 7ababibi.
