NODEVA001 - FOCUS ARTIST YASMAE « Free Fall » delivers a hard-hitting intensity and an immersive Mental Techno soundscape. Yasmae’s sonic signature is a raw fusion of industrial FX, deep resonances, organic elements, and a persistent tribal groove—a hypnotic track designed to carry a powerful, socially conscious message. Yasmae aims to convey a message of social activism. Through this track, he highlights the systemic issues of our world and emphasizes the need to encourage change, using music as a tool to unite and share. Creative Process and Inspirations The composition process was somewhat chaotic at first but became fluid and fast-paced once it clicked. Yasmae drew inspiration from artists like Andy Martin, Paul Hauck, and the Non Series label. Experimenting with the Moog DFAM allowed him to create powerful, signature sounds. This track fits perfectly into his universe while maintaining his trademark « mental » edge. « Once I finished, I felt the need to push things even further. I created a second, ultra-dark ambient track inspired by Kangding Ray and the work he did for the film Sirat. It felt like a continuation of ‘Free Fall’—more personal, and produced entirely using only the Moog DFAM. »

Je pourrais parler des sons, des rythmes, des textures ou de l’univers que j’ai essayé de retransmettre pour créer cet EP. Mais ce n’est pas ce que j’ai envie de partager aujourd’hui. « June » est né d’un de ces passages où tout vacille, où le silence pèse lourd, où les jours se ressemblent et que l’imprévue t’entoure. Chaque morceau porte une trace de ce chemin, de cette lutte intérieur qui nous rend impuissant mais qui nous façonne. De cette lumière qu’on cherche même quand tout semble obscur.
