Upcoming Dancehall artiste Chevy Don dropped his first musical project of 2026, an EP titled ‘She Malo’ via his label YMM WAY, short for Young Money Maker. The project features two tracks titled ‘Bad Bitch’ and ‘Bounce’, both aimed heavily at female listeners while tapping into the growing Trap Dancehall wave currently dominating sections of the local music scene. Originally from Grange Hill in Westmoreland, Chevy Don has been pursuing music professionally since 2017. Over time, the emerging entertainer has quietly built a following online while working to establish his name among Jamaica’s new generation of Dancehall artistes. The entertainer’s latest release arrives at a time when several young acts continue using digital platforms to grow their fan base independently. Dancehaller Flippa Moggela has released his first song of 2026 while continuing to make headlines over reports surrounding his latest legal situation in the United States. The new track, titled ‘Title’, is now available on YouTube and major streaming platforms. Produced by FlipMoneyRecords and inspired by real life events, ‘Title’ carries a raw Dancehall sound similar to the style that dominated the early 2000s era of the genre. In the track, Flippa takes aim at both men and women who become envious or bitter over other people’s relationships and success. The deejay delivers his lyrics over a groovy beat layered with traditional Dancehall energy, a direction many longtime fans of the genre are expected to appreciate. The release comes only days after reports surfaced that the entertainer, whose given name is Andrew Davis, had returned to United States federal custody. According to inmate records circulating online, Flippa is currently listed at the Federal Detention Center in Philadelphia. Up to now, the artiste has not publicly addressed the reports or made any statement regarding the matter. Before ‘Title’, Flippa’s most recent musical release was his collaboration with Chronic Law titled ‘Like This’, featured on the ‘Mix Feelings Riddim’ project released in late 2025. ‘Title’ is expected to be a part of an upcoming riddim/juggling set for a June 2026 release.
