DAY 6: Why I am taking my time with this formula.
I could have released this shampoo months ago.
But I didn’t want to release just another shampoo.
Most shampoos are made to clean hair.
I’m making one that heals and aligns with the scalp especially sensitive, itchy scalps.
Every batch teaches me something.
One version cleans well but feels too stripping.
Another feels gentle but doesn’t cleanse enough.
So I tweak. I rebalance. I remove. I adjust. And finally, I have gotten the perfect one.
I’ve chosen to go unscented, sulfate free, and barrier healing and that already removes a lot of easy options.
But I’d rather take my time than release something that makes people itch and then apologize later.

This is a big win for me.
I finally cracked the perfect formula for a shampoo gentle enough for the most sensitive scalp without causing irritation.
And no, I’m not advertising this as a face wash, it is a SHAMPOO.
This test was just to see if it would react on my extremely sensitive face.
For context, I react to almost anything.
My face creams are unscented, my cleansers are unscented, even body wash stresses me sometimes 😭
So if something doesn’t break me out … it’s a miracle.
We’ve been working on this formula for MONTHS changing batches, rebalancing the pH, removing anything that could irritate the scalp.
My goal from day one has been simple:
