Filipinas on the rise, literally!💥
We had the honor of hearing from two incredible Filipina leaders shaping the global narrative of representation and empowerment — Krystl Fabella and Marizza Delgado — during their powerful conversation at YAMAN NYC 2025. 🇵🇭✨
Krystl Fabella, Founder and CEO of Filipina on the Rise, leads the largest global media platform and podcast celebrating Filipina excellence, connecting over 50,000 members worldwide. Featured by NBC News, Yahoo, and TFC, Krystl has spoken at the Philippine Consulate in New York and was named one of NYC Journal’s Top 30 Women to Watch. She continues to champion kapwa and community through her work in media and tech — building spaces that uplift and unite Filipinas around the world. 🌏💫
Marizza Delgado is a Filipina American engineer, fashion model, and advocate for women in STEM. She has modeled internationally for H&M, L’Oréal, and Lululemon, walked New York Fashion Week, and appeared in Vogue Philippines. In 2024, she made history as the first Filipina to win Miss New York USA, later placing Top 20 at Miss USA and earning a spot on Forbes 30 Under 30 in Arts & Style. Beyond the runway, she’s a data scientist with experience at Etsy and Rent the Runway and serves on the Girls Who Code Advisory Council. 👑💻
A year after their first interview, Krystl and Marizza reunited on the YAMAN NYC stage to discuss why the world needs our YAMAN — the power of global Filipinas. What unfolded was a deeply moving exchange about identity, representation, and how Filipinas everywhere are redefining success.
We’ll be sharing more snippets from this conversation soon — but this one is a must-watch. It’s an eye-opener and a celebration of what it means to rise as Filipina. 💖
