Some hospitals have been under suspicion of trying to find ways to avoid the new rule that went into effect in 2021 to disclose all the prices to their treatments and services.

Health Navigators is hosting an inspiring survivor story on Wednesday, April 28th at 7pm. At the age of 24 Matt Ode was diagnosed with Stage 3C Testicular Cancer. Matt has had quite a dramatic health journey and is sharing his story of "Survivor to Superhero”, about how he turned life’s most difficult challenge to his greatest strength.

Some young adults spend their days with Nemo and Winnie the Pooh at children's hospitals while others are sent to bland adult hospitals. While we are united by certain commonalities, the #AYA cancer experience varies cell mate to cell mate.

Year - Years are a defining feature of #AYACancer. There's an assumption our diagnosis makes us wise beyond our years. We contrast the years that came before our diagnosis to our current state and tend to write off our years grappling with cancer treatment as lost ones.
