One of our clients was recently involved in a collision after a motorist ran a red light. The motorcycle hit his front wheel directly, with the rider then falling into his rear wheel. The motorcycle rider admitted that he's sleepy which caused the accident.
The most important news: our client is safe and recovering from some road rash. The surprising news? Despite the impact of a motorcycle hitting his front wheel directly, the wheels remained structurally sound, measuring only 0.37 out of true with the spoke tension still holding firm.
A quick session in the truing stand and he was back on the road just a few hours later. We build them to perform, but we’re glad they’re built to endure. Stay safe out there.
Since Q1 of 2025, we've been developing a wheelset that challenges the industry standard. While major brands focus on mass production, this project focuses on a radical mechanical departure from mainstream carbon wheels specifically those with carbon spokes. This isn't a "mainstream" build, it's a masterclass in structural integrity and stealth aesthetics.
This project follows the same engineering philosophy as our signature stainless steel spoke builds. Whether we are using internal nipples with steel or this new carbon architecture, our goal remains the same: a cleaner look, better aerodynamics, and a wheel that stays true longer.
This build is the evolution of our stainless steel spoke builds (originally started with our custom inverted DSN on standard rims). We've taken the same high-tension, internal nipple philosophy used in our steel spoke wheels and applied it to our carbon spoke builds.
