We are excited to be able to share Skin and Coal (1987) a documentary by Claudine Boothe on xviix for 1 week - 02/11/22 - 09/11/22 Skin and Coal was produced by Social Film and Video, a black film company and directed by Claudine Boothe. It tells the story of two generations of black miners and their families who lived and worked in Doncaster, Leeds and Nottingham. There is no voice-over commentary; the miners speak for themselves.
