A New Frontier, A Xavier Leader - Xavier University of Louisiana proudly celebrates Jaymison Tillery, a graduating senior whose journey reflects the very best of our mission in action. A Public Health Sciences major with minors in Healthcare Management and Aerospace Studies, Jaymison has distinguished himself as a dynamic leader and servant of community. He has served as Senior Class Vice President and as Brother and Historian of the Beta Tau Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated, while also extending his impact beyond campus through his work with CrescentCare—supporting outreach efforts to expand access to sexual health services across the Greater New Orleans community. Rooted in Xavier’s commitment to forming leaders who advance a more just and humane society, Jaymison has consistently led with purpose, integrity, and a deep sense of responsibility to others. His leadership across campus initiatives, community engagement, and peer mentorship reflects a student who has embraced both the challenge and the calling of a Xavier education. On May 15, Jaymison will be commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Space Force, becoming one of the first two graduates from Xavier University to achieve this distinction—joining fellow trailblazer Hannah Jordan in this historic milestone. #xula1925 #menofxavier #spaceforce #blackexcellence
