Manchester to the World – when creative forces combine...
XTRAX commissioned Manchester-based design studio The Sculpts to create a unique artwork and special-edition merchandise for #MCRxLaMerce2025, honouring the cultural relationship between the two cities.
The design is called A Crest for Connection, 'Una cimera de connexio' and features:
• Manchester and Barcelona Town Halls at the crest, symbolising civic partnership
• A celebration of Bee for Barcelona, a new puppet carnival commission by
@global_grooves (Manchester) with
@paureig.art and
@tallerdolorssans (Catalonia)
• The Barcelona bat, fireworks, and a breathing dragon representing the city’s legendary Correfocs
Special edition merchandise including: prints [£18 +p&p] 6x6 inch tiles [£35 +p&p]; greetings cards, mugs, prints & pin badges available at:
