In Hakanaï, Adrien Mondot and Claire Bardainne create a space where the boundaries between body, projection, sound, and digital matter begin to dissolve. Encountering Hakanaï feels less like watching a performance, and more like stepping inside a fragile state of consciousness where movement, light, and digital matter continuously reshape one another in real time. In Hakanaï, Adrien Mondot and Claire Bardainne dissolve the boundary between body, image, and space. A dancer moves inside a translucent cube where projections, sound, CGI, and live interaction respond directly to human presence. Nothing is entirely predetermined. Every gesture shifts the environment itself. The work exists somewhere between fragility and computation where movement becomes a language capable of shaping digital matter. “Hakanaï” is an old Japanese word describing the impermanence of things: fleeting, delicate, impossible to fully hold onto. And that feeling quietly lives inside every layer of the piece. — Hakanaï ile karşılaşmak, bir performans izlemekten çok kırılgan bir bilinç hâlinin içine adım atmak gibi hissettiriyor — hareketin, ışığın ve dijital materyalin gerçek zamanlı olarak birbirini sürekli yeniden şekillendirdiği bir alanın içine girmek gibi.
