August is coming, and when your band is spread out states and even continents apart, you rehearse however you can. #worthyofthecalling #breakingdarknessmusicfestival
Sometimes it’s not about being super technical or flashy. Sometimes it’s just about being tight, and that’s a process that takes time and repetition. Here’s Bry and me doing some early morning work tightening the screws on a new tune you’ll get to hear the full version of later this year 👊🏻👊🏻 #MyFriendSteve
Excited to announce that the DAY and NIGHT EPs have been rereleased on streaming as a combined album! CDs are coming too, courtesy of @peopleofpunkrock records and are available for preorder now! Let’s go!! 👊🏻👊🏻🏖️☔️☀️🌙
Let me start by saying I’ve never owned a leather jacket, but when your drummer lives 6 hours away, and your bassist on another continent, you take advantage of technology when you need a quick band photo for a flyer. That being said, allow me to introduce the 2 men who will help Bryan and I bring Splitcast back to life for real this coming August at @breakingdarknessfest .
To Bryan’s left is bass maestro @loic.cormery who is coming all the way from France 🇫🇷(yes, you read that correctly) to play with us and spend a week in the States. You can hear his handiwork on Worthy of the Calling, Stockholm Syndrome, and Silence of the Saints off the “Night” EP.
To my right is the very talented and versatile drummer Scott Holk, who married into the Splitcast family and was given no choice in the matter 😂
If you haven’t yet, head on over to breakingdarkness.com to purchase your tickets now. We will have the privilege of opening the event at 1pm on Saturday 8/1 and we’re honored to do it.
Stay tuned for more updates! (and less AI)
This EP is 5 songs of punk rock bliss! Hands down my favourite release of 2025. Soaring harmonies, and good good no wheat shreddies!
I hear Identity Crisis era Thrice with modern tones and rhythms of the likes of @colorsfade_music@oneofus204@heathcliffskatepunk@hikethepeakuk and many more!
Congratulations to @xsplitcastx
August is a ways off, but because this is a ticketed event with a name like War of Ages at the top of the bill, if you’re one of the few dozen people who would perhaps be interested in seeing Splitcast perform as a full band for the first time in 25 years, you might wanna grab those tickets now before WOA sells it out. Just sayin. Head over to to lock it in now!
2025 was a another year of steady growth! Huge thanks to all the listeners out there who continue to help us slowly push our way into the vast sea that is the modern music world. The sad truth is that becoming “relevant” as an artist in this day and age is nearly impossible to do on merit alone. That isn’t a slam on artists who spend hundreds or thousands on ad campaigns, because if I could financially justify doing it, I would! However, I’m proud to say these stats, while modest, largely represent organic growth. Which means it’s not us, but you all who moved the needle. Let’s keep going then, shall we?
Having all you guys sing along to the last chorus of “West Broad” was the highlight of the night, and the perfect way to wrap up the set. I promise more videos are coming! If you took any, feel free to share and tag us!
