I’m incredibly grateful to @xspeedcycle@xspeedracingteam X-Speed Cycling Team for giving me the opportunity to race at the @tourofmr Tour of Margaret River in Perth. Competing in such breathtaking scenery was truly a special experience.✨
A heartfelt thank you to Claire and her family for their generosity and warm hospitality. They allowed me to see Perth from a deeper, more personal perspective and created memories I’ll always treasure.🥰🥰
Due to equipment issues in the first two days, our team stayed in fourth place. On the final day, we managed to create a small miracle and secured third place in the overall team classification by the narrowest margin.😘😘
Although we didn’t make it onto the podium, that’s exactly what made this experience even more meaningful and unforgettable.

Introducing @lilsuckling from @xspeedcycle
Lily will be one of the U19 riders that form part of our holistic development pathway.
We’re excited to work with Lily to help her realise some of her potential over the next couple of years. It is a great step up for the 16 year-old, who less than a year ago, was in the crowd watching the team achieve podium finishes in Perth and Adelaide.
Our U19 riders will join @ct_luc_wallays_jrr_roeselare for a 6 week block of European racing after @provelosuperleague in April and May.
In the meantime Lily will round out her U17 season with a race at @tourofmr this weekend.

Starting in Guilford heading towards South Perth across The Narrows into Kings park for a couple of loops and then back.
📍 Route: approximately 60km
📍 Start Location: Guildford Station – Northern Carpark
⏰ Start Time: 4:30 PM
⏰ Estimated Finish: 7:00–7:30 PM
💡 Lights Required: Front and rear lights are mandatory
Please come prepared with plenty of fluids and nutrition. We’ll have regular regrouping points along the way.

For younger riders or those new to night rides, we strongly recommend being accompanied by a parent for the first few rides.

X-Speed Masters were out and about this weekend. A sizeable contingent fought the wind in the beautiful Chapman Valley for @backroadsgravel with Club Patron @murrayhallauthor on the top step yesterday in the inaugural WA State Gravel Championship. And @crank_it_cycling took the win with a perfect lead out by Warren in the WCMC Dog Hill race this morning. Well done everyone. Great to see so many out there having fun.

Well after braving the very wet conditions of Round 1 everyone was very pleased with the lovely blue sky for Round 2. Fantastic turnout and exciting racing today….stay tuned for a race report.
