The next portrait from my book DJs by Lopez are the legendary trio X-Press 2.
Consisting of Rocky, Diesel and Ashley Beedle they first arrived in the publics ears with the tracks Muzik Express and London Xpress in 93.
Their debut U.S single hit the number spot on the Hot Dance chart in 96 and in 2001 their album Muzikizum was released, the single Lazy with vocals by David Byrne reaching the number one spot in the U.S and number 2 in the U.K resulting in an Ivor Novello award in 2003.
Now a duo Rocky & Diesel continue to play out at clubs and festivals all over the world.

Tremendous night down in Cardiff last night, with the @spacelab_12026 crew! Massive love and respect to @spacelab_dave and the whole Spacelab family for looking after us so well and to the wonderful dancers that kept the dance floor rammed and rocking all night! It was 🔥🔥
