I make it no secret that I’m not necessarily fond of children… self admittedly, I don’t have to the patience for them.
But there’s something about doing Story Hour that truly lights me up inside. Knowing these children are getting the queer representation that I know so many of us desperately needed when we were their age, that, my friends, is priceless.
@dragstoryhour is a vital pillar in our queer community, and helps teach inclusivity, belonging, acceptance & self determined love.
I am so very thankful that @charlotteareadsh continues to let me support my community, and the next generation of queer kids and allies. Getting to be this voice is a responsibility i take immense pride & pleasure in, and im so happy to bring you along on the ride with me.

✨H O N O R E D✨
Last night was amazing. Nova & I discussed her wanting to create Union County Pride’s inaugural pride court, and we tossed out the names of who we thought deserved to start this hopeful tradition moving forward. She picked those who helped us start this entire movement last year, and those who helped us build this amazing community in Union County— friends and advocates who have stood with us through the bullshit & hate, and still helped us carve out a place for the LGBTQIA+ Community in an underserved area.
What I didn’t know is that they’re all sneaky little shits. 😒
Last night I got to help crown some of my best friends onto this Inaugural court— but those same friends surprised me by welcoming me into the Inaugural Court with them.
I love you, Funroe— I love what we’ve built in this tiny little small-town. I love the support & community you all help us build, and I can’t describe how much I appreciate the space you’ve all created for us and allowed us to make for you.
I’m hopeful for the future of this community we’re all crafting together, and I’m honored you’ve allowed me to do it with you all.
