Gotham Jazz delivered another unforgettable evening with The Hot Toddies Band setting the tone across three electric sets, featuring an all-star lineup of musicians for the 4th anniversary. The night came alive with captivating performances by burlesque artist Tansy and tap dancer AC Lincoln, adding layers of rhythm and spectacle. Guests even had the chance to join in, as Jaime Shannon led a lively swing dance lesson that got the room moving.
Four years in, Gotham Jazz continues to be one of the city’s most vibrant weekly nights blending live music, rotating performances from dancers and aerialists, and now an updated cocktail menu with small bites to match the vibe. A true one-of-a-kind experience that keeps you coming back for more.
You can join in each and every Wednesday by booking tickets online.
Somewhere Nowhere is located at 112 West 25th Street NYC.

At Lips, they live for the celebration. Whether you are turning another year older or saying goodbye to the single life, the ladies know exactly how to make your night one you will never forget.
Speaking of the ladies, they will celebrate anything and everything with you. No occasion is too big or too small. Our server told my friend and I that the one golden rule is to keep the cocktails flowing.
The fun does not stop at the bar. They have a full comfort food menu to keep you fueled all night long. Think hearty pastas, tender steak, perfectly cooked lobster ravioli, and so much more.
While I do recommend the $59 show and dinner, Lips offers great specials throughout the weekend, including a boozy brunch and show. Sunday Brunch at Lips is a whole event on its own. I'm talking ALL YOU CAN DRINK unlimited Mimosas and Bloody Marys, paired with a delicious selection of brunch entrees. The one and only Ginger Snap has been hosting Broadway Brunch every Sunday for over 20 years, and if you have never experienced it, you are missing out on something truly legendary.
Come as you are. Leave as a regular.

I recently joined my friends at Barsys HQ for a happy hour. The theme was manifesting Spring because you know the weather in NYC is literally playing in our faces 🤨🙄
The Barsys machine — an AI-powered cocktail (and mocktail) maker mixes perfectly measured drinks at the touch of a button. The star of the show for me was the strawberry tequila sour.
The night also features live music from Liv Kat, a NYC-based music curator and DJ known for her signature blend of downtempo, nu-disco, and jazzy house.
Thanks Barsys for having me. See you at the next one. CHEERS!

Kicking off St. Patrick’s Day with Jameson felt just right. I was excited when I received an invite to their pre St Patty's Day celebration. The party was hosted by KidSuper at their flagship store in Brooklyn. This was my first time trying the Jameson Triple Triple. It gets that name because it is triple distilled and triple casked, bringing out subtle notes of toffee, cacao, and almond while staying incredibly smooth.
My go to cocktail from the menu was the JAMESON TRIPLE TRIPLE CHESTNUT MANHATTAN: Jameson Triple Triple, Sherry, Sweet Vermouth, Angostura Bitters, and Cherry garnish.
The evening was filled with smooth whiskey, great cocktails, and good music, the perfect way to start celebrating St. Patrick’s Day. Sláinte 🍀🥃
