It was a really cool experience and it was nice meeting everyone and honestly the models and photographers I met are 100% people worth working with. Everyone I interacted with was really down to earth and it was cool trying out new filters.
Hands down Prism is my go to for filters, I especially like as a filmmaker that the people running Prismlensfx are also filmmakers.
Excited for the new filters they're working on.
Some of the most fun I've had editing images too, it was nice doing a mixture of different styles.
I know I still have a lot to learn but I hope y'all like the edits ❤️
Side note: Sorry I have been working at a slower pace because of my health and just other stuff going on but I'm going to try to send out as much as I can today to people. If I haven't gotten to you yet feel free to reach out, I'll work as fast as I can.
Videos also just take a lot longer too with fixing up usually.
Goal is to be completely back on track and have everything sent out by Tuesday of next week

Honestly aside from the nightmare that is apartment hunting and a few other things...life has been pretty good.
Got a new job so I'm excited for that and honestly I have gotten more obsessed with polaroid photography (love making people happy with it...so if anyone needs any polaroid pics, let me know)

Without further ado I'd like to introduce another character from the webcomic me and @the_kohaii are working on (she's the artist, I'm the writer and I highly recommend commissioning her...she's the best) called United States of Chaos. Our comic about the US states as people, divided into different factions. Essentially deals with the characters interactions with each other and what they want for the United States.
Here's Texas, which feels like a weird character to introduce considering everything going on recently but she's definitely against all of the bad stuff going on...be it the things happening to the LGBTQ+ community (she's actually bisexual btw) and people thinking they can have control over what we do with our bodies. Regardless of how you feel, if it's not your body it's not your choice to make. Also trying to erase the existence of the queer community in any form be it education or otherwise is messed up.

Art isn't suppose to be easy,
Art isn't suppose to be perfect it's suppose to be real
It's suppose to be human
Take the life out of it, take the humanity out of it, rip out all the feelings, the raw emotions speaking their own unique language, the vulnerability, the hard work and all the thought and heart put into it
Take all of those things away
And not only are you taking away the beauty of it
You are turning it into something that is no longer art at all
Art carries meaning no matter what,
to strip that all away
is a diabolical thing to do
If you don't value art
You don't value life
And if you're that kind of person, you don't deserve to be in the same spaces as artists, you don't deserve to work with them
When you don't respect what they do
To treat artists like they're just dirt under your shoe
Is just a reflection of the ugliness and lack of humanity inside of you
and I pity you, I pity you greatly because you can't know the warmth of love and joy
without having a heart of your own

You know I'm at a loss for words right now,
Today has been a day that has both reminded me how loved I am and valued by the people around me but also how heartless and thoughtless people can be as well without ever acknowledging how their actions can hurt someone else
That someone can be incredibly cruel yet believe that they've done nothing wrong and do everything right baffles me
Like someone who pushes someone over the edge, acts likes the other person is far from the edge and then proceeds to push them off the cliff and claim it was just the wind
I've always felt like it was my responsibility to always stand my ground in the face of a bully, even if there's risk of more damage to myself because even if it doesn't do me any good in the end, if it stops them from hurting more people that's something at least
The damage to me has already been done but if I can stop someone else from hurting the way I'm hurting right now, if I can save even one person
I'll take another bullet, I'll hurt a little more
I'll let the water fog up my vision just a tad longer
I'm strong enough I can take it, I'm used to it
So please just let my pain keep someone else from experiencing it too that alone would make it all worth it
And maybe tonight is a painful one but tomorrow is a new day

Be a light in a road where all the street lights have gone out
Be a light whenever you can be, you never know who's gonna need it
