He holds both a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Engineering from the University of Belgrade. ↳ His photographic work focuses on post-conflict societies, exploring stories connected to the Iraq War, the escalation of violence during the Russo-Ukrainian War, the rise and fall of Islamic State in northern Iraq, the European migrant crisis, and the lasting consequences of the Yugoslav Wars. ↳ Marko has worked on feature assignments for publications and organizations including The Associated Press, NBC News, Médecins Sans Frontières, International Rescue Committee, Human Rights Watch, Der Spiegel, El País, The Guardian, and The New Yorker. #MeetTheJury #SarajevoPhotographyFestival
