A little story about timing, lots of it. 🕚🗓⏲️
When my pop-up was at
@eastcutcrossing back in January, we were open 7 days a week. There were days when I was not there, but my team members were.
Tracy, a bride-to-be, came to my flower shop twice and had missed me both times as those were my days off. She wanted to discuss with me about her vision for her bridal bouquet. On days when I was there, she came back, but I was either out to lunch or stepped away at the moment. Tracy missed me not once, not twice, but a total of four times.
When I learned that her wedding day would be just a few days after I return from my Japan trip, I considered asking one of my trusted designers to create and deliver Tracy's bouquet because I did not want to take any chances with possible flight delays. Normally, I would not worry about things like that, but not when I have a bride counting on me for her wedding day. I was afraid to take that risk.
Yet, at the same time, it didn't feel right to "hand it over" to someone else either. Tracy went to my flower shop looking for me, 4 times, remember?
In the end, it all worked out! No flight delays. I returned to the Bay Area right on time. Thank you,
@evaairways ✈️
The flowers I had in mind were available, freshly sourced, both locally and imported. More details on flowers in another post, but for now, the focus is on our bride and groom.
I cannot thank Tracy enough for being so patient and diligent in making the effort to meet with me. Everything worked out in perfect timing.
Congratulations, Tracy & Bryant 🥂
You both looked perfect 💍 April 7, 2026
