‘Leaves Leave’, my solo exhibition at @__incubator__ , is currently on view through 26 April.
Final week: It is the last chance to see Feiyi Wen and Xiaochi Dong’s duo exhibition, ‘The Garden and the Gaze’ at Albion Jeune.
‘The Garden and the Gaze’ exhibits Feiyi’s photography in conversation with Xiaochi’s paintings, offering a thoughtful presentation on the relationship between humans and nature. Taking the form of a greenhouse, the gallery can be gazed into from the street. Photography from Feiyi’s ‘Seeing a pine tree from your bedroom window’ and ‘Wood, Water, Rock’ line the walls of the gallery. Xiaochi’s ‘Dungeness Moss’ and ‘Green Cube’ paintings, take their proportions from the windows of architectural landmarks, anchoring the exhibition.
Xiaochi Dong’s three works, all entitled ‘Skin’, are studies of reptilian skin inspired by his personal interest in terrariums. Dong explores a distinct visual representation of his natural world.
Visit ‘The Garden and the Gaze’ until Saturday 31 January 2026.

My garden’s boundaries are the horizon — Derek Jarman
Jarman’s Prospect Cottage has quietly stayed with me over time. I’m not sure I can fully explain why, it’s something I feel more than analyse.
Dungeness Moss is part of the duo exhibition ‘The Garden and the Gaze’ at @albionjeune
The exhibition runs through January 31
