🇬🇧 Xenos A.D. is a thrash/death metal band from Italy, formed as a continuation of the original Xenos project (known for a modern thrash sound with old-school influences). The band combines aggressive thrash riffing inspired by the Bay Area scene (Exodus, Testament, Metallica) with elements of melodic death metal and a darker, more atmospheric approach to their lyrics.

The bands will perform on Day One at the Garage Pub Kraków May 15, 2026
and on Day Two at Leśniczówka Rock'n'Roll Cafe Chorzów May 16, 2026.
XENOS A.D. were formed in 2019 , delivering a Thrash Metal sound influenced by the classic American and German scene, with references to Slayer, Megadeth, Kreator, Exodus and Testament.
In 2020 they released their debut album Filthgrinder, which was well received by the specialized press and included among the best Thrash debut albums of the year.
In 2021 the band released their second album The Dawn of Ares, published by the German label Iron Shield Records, which received excellent reviews and was mentioned among the best Thrash albums of 2021.
In 2022 the band performed at the Area 53 Festival, sharing the stage with Testament, Exodus and Death Angel.
In the following years they also appeared at important festivals such as Into the Grave Festival, Agglutination Metal Festival and Wacken Open Air.
In 2025 they released their third album Requiem for the Oppressor through My Kingdom Music, considered the band’s most complete and brutal work so far.

Review - XENOS A.D. - Reqviem For The Oppressor
Manche Seelen müssen erst mehrfach durchs Feuer gehen, bevor sie endlich brennen wie sie sollen, Ignazio Nicastro ist genau so eine verdammte Kämpfernatur. Nach FUOCO FATUO, EVERSIN und dem anfänglichen Schattendasein von XENOS war der Weg lang, steinig und alles andere als gnädig.
Doch mit XENOS A.D. und „Reqviem For The Oppressor“ scheint der Moment gekommen, an dem der Teufel endlich nickt, zustimmend.
Was diese Platte von Anfang an klarstellt: Hier wird nicht mehr gezweifelt, hier wird exekutiert. Statt verkopfter Umwege gibt es eine kompromisslose Old-School-Thrash-Offensive, die sich zwar ehrfürchtig vor Größen wie ANNIHILATOR und MEGADETH verbeugt, dabei aber nicht zum billigen Abklatsch verkommt.
Der Gitarrensound schneidet messerscharf, das Songwriting ist auf Angriff getrimmt, und die Mischung aus Highspeed-Riffs, Groove und technischer Finesse sitzt tödlich präzise.
Besonders beeindruckend: Nicastro selbst. Als Frontmann wirkt er entschlossener, wütender und fokussierter denn je. Songs wie „Tears On The Face Of God“ und „The Bleeding Hand Of Faith“ tragen eine düstere Intensität in sich, die unter die Haut geht, während „Children Of The Atomic Sun“ und „Dance Of The Gods“ ein Thrash-Gewitter entfesseln, das keine Gefangenen macht.
Der absolute Höhepunkt ist jedoch der Titeltrack: „Reqviem For The Oppressor“ ein brachiales Manifest, ein Triumphzug durch verbrannte Erde.
Hier werfen XENOS A.D. alles in die Schlacht, was sie haben, und gehen als Sieger hervor. Leidenschaft, Wut und Hunger tropfen aus jeder Note. Diese Band will nicht mehr nur mitspielen, sie will zerstören.
Nein, Legendenstatus wie ANNIHILATOR erreicht man nicht über Nacht. Aber: XENOS A.D. waren noch nie so nah dran wie jetzt. Dieses Album ist ohne Zweifel ihr bislang stärkster Schlag, ein Silberling mit echtem Stahlkern und ehrlichem Feuer.
Fazit aus der Hölle:
„Reqviem For The Oppressor“ verdient keinen höflichen Applaus
es verdient Respekt, Lautstärke und Blut an den Lautsprechern.
Wenn Gerechtigkeit im Metal existiert, dann wird diese Platte endlich die Anerkennung bekommen, die sie sich erbissen hat. 🔥🤘
