XCEL TEEN OPEN AUDITIONS
August 15th 5-8pm
Xcel Teen Program was created to train young dancers between the ages of 13 and 17 who want to forge a career in the professional dance industry. Through a supportive and nurturing yet constructively critical environment, we encourage the development of individuality and performance strength of each dancer as they navigate the intensive training provided by our rotating staff of working professionals in the entertainment world.
This training program involves multiple disciplines and approached including but not limited to:
-16 professional level classes including dance and acting classes. 75 min each
-1 Photoshoot with a professional photographer
-Free Monthly Membership with Xcel Studios
-Access to Xcel Studio night classes, including Masterclasses
-periodic mock auditions to give real time audition experience and professional feedback
-exposure to local and national choreographers in multiple styles of dance
-supportive and nurturing environment to promote the growing of each dancer to reach the fullest potential
We expect each participant to conduct themselves in a professional manner by showing up to classes on time as well as being prepared for what style of class they are taking that day and to interact with the teachers and fellow students to treat each other as equals and be inclusive with one another. We promote a healthy and focused work environment which mimics the same environment needed to work on the set of a movie,television show,or tour with major artists. Our goal is to guide our Xcel Teen Program dancers to be prepared at any moment to land an audition,book the gig and become a professional working dancer.
