At Al Ameed Experience, even the most intimate spaces were conceived as quiet sanctuaries within the architectural journey. Marble, glossy finishes and warm brass accents come together in a composition designed to feel both serene and otherworldly. Curved forms soften the experience, while layers of texture create a subtle dialogue between purity and materiality. Filtered light, reflective surfaces and organic details transform the inner spaces into moments of calm suspended within the energy of the experience.

Tucked into one of the quieter corners of the first floor of Al Ameed Experience, the specialty coffee bar was imagined as an intimate destination devoted to the ritual of Turkish coffee. Clad in deep Macassar wood and framed with luminous copper accents, the space balances richness with restraint. Contemporary coffee hobs were seamlessly integrated into the granite surface itself, allowing the preparation of gourmet Turkish coffee to unfold with quiet precision and ceremony. Above, suspended shelves carrying vessels of coffee beans appear almost sculptural, transforming the craft of coffee into a curated visual experience.

At Al Ameed Experience, even the most intimate spaces were approached as part of the architectural narrative. A study in softness, reflection and futuristic minimalism, where the contrast between polished and textured surfaces, luminous mirrors and sculpted forms transforms the ordinary into an experience of its own. A glimpse behind the creation of the inner spaces.

Set gently within the corner, the food bar reveals a more intimate rhythm of the experience. Conceived as a space of making, it is dedicated to the precision behind each offering, chocolate tempering, careful preparation and the quiet choreography of craft. Its curved form and warm materiality echo the language of the space, while open aluminum windows allow it to extend outward, spilling onto the terrace during summer months, where inside and outside dissolve into one continuous experience.

On the first floor of Al Ameed Experience, XAYA designed the space to unfold around the central coffee and mixology bar, where craft meets experimentation. In collaboration with @barshivoo , a series of signature coffee cocktails is curated exclusively for Al Ameed, translating the language of coffee into a new, sensory expression. Above, a suspended, sculptural ring hovers like a quiet orbit, framing the bar as the spatial and social anchor of the floor. On the other side of the bar, a living terrarium introduces a moment of stillness. A reminder of origin, coffee as something grown, rooted and nurtured, bringing a natural counterpoint to the refined composition. Encircling the space, a wall-to-wall LED canvas animates the rituals of coffee culture. Movement, texture and imagery shift continuously, infusing the environment with a dynamic rhythm. A space where coffee is not only served, but reimagined.

From Blossom to Bean Developed in close collaboration between @lasvitdesign and XAYA for Al Ameed Experience, this bespoke lighting installation translates the journey of the coffee bean into a suspended spatial narrative. It begins with delicately blown glass blossoms, evolving into luminous green and yellow forms, an early stage of the fruit, before deepening into amber, red and rich brown tones, echoing the transformation through harvest and roast. The composition flows across levels, guiding the eye and the body, through the full cycle of coffee in motion. More than illumination, the piece is a spatial expression of transformation, where craft and concept converge to capture the essence of coffee, not as a product, but as an evolving ritual.

A study in ritual. At the heart of the ground floor, the act of coffee grinding is reimagined as an experience of precision and presence. A sequence of striking red grinders anchors the space, no longer tools alone, but sculptural markers within a carefully composed landscape. Bespoke display units unfold in fluid geometries, guiding movement rather than dictating it. From beans to grind, from selection to transformation, the full ritual of coffee is revealed as a continuous narrative, immersive, tactile and quietly elevated. An architecture where even the most familiar gesture is given new meaning.

A study in display. On the ground floor, merchandise becomes part of the spatial narrative. Objects are not arranged, but composed, each piece finding its place within a system of fluid structures that reject rigidity in favor of movement. Covering the full ritual of coffee, from cups to machines, from grinders to pots, the selection unfolds as a complete universe, where every element is given presence and intention. Custom-designed units were developed for each category, responding to scale, function, and use. Suspended, layered, and quietly illuminated, they create a landscape where retail dissolves into experience. An architecture shaped not by product alone, but by the way it is revealed.

A glimpse into the process behind the form. Metal and wood, transformed into a sculptural gesture. A bold line drawn through space.

A moment of arrival. At the heart of Al Ameed Experience, a sweeping red staircase rises as the pièce de résistance, a gesture that anchors the entire space. The architecture unfolds around it, guiding movement, perspective and light. Upon arrival, the reception desk composes its own dialogue of materials: oak wood, lacquered red surfaces and Rosso Levanto marble, cut in organic lines. Above, a bespoke @lasvitdesign lighting installation unfolds in suspended forms inspired by the journey of the coffee bean, from fruit to roast, translating the ritual of coffee into light and sculpture.

Al Ameed Experience Conceived over nearly five years, Al Ameed Experience redefines the contemporary coffee destination as an immersive cultural environment. Designed and developed by XAYA from concept to completion, the project moves beyond the traditional café typology. A coffee grinding shop, a coffee mixology bar, specialty Turkish coffee bar, and a food and chocolate tempering concept coexist alongside a high-end retail zone for professional coffee equipment, each space articulated through precise spatial planning and layered material expression. Beyond its commercial function, the experience unfolds through a quiet study room and a dedicated masterclass space for roasting and barista training. Installations, integrated LED elements and sculptural forms draw from global coffee culture, translating ritual into architecture. A destination shaped by process, craft and atmosphere. Coffee, reimagined as space.
