I’m constantly blown away by the creative people around me! It’s a huge relief to know I don’t have to do this alone which is a feeling that’s hard to come by sometimes. The 3rd song of the EP is called "Cáscaras" (Shells)
I was inspired by Ghost in the Shell's concept of bodies as shells and minds/memories as a digital abstraction.
Imagine living our social and working lives fully in the digital, abandoning our environment and real surroundings, all our memories and affective world is non physical, just to reach a point where everything is lost and we find ourselves without memory and alone in a world full of thrash, plastic, and shells.
Lyrics:
Nada quedará, solo los recuerdos en la nube digital,
cáscaras vacías, de plástico y metal, cuerpos obligados a vivir sin conexión.
Nada que tocar, solo la ilusión, de algo que pasó, almas sin refugio,

The first song is called "Time" ⏳ and is a reflection on how the concept of Time has always been an unspoken motivation behind privilege and used as a tool of oppression.
It was together with the other songs composed on november 2019, before corona, and it took a different dimension afterwards, when we all had suddenly so much "free" time.
