Everything rolls into yesterday. The van, the hot coffee filled mornings, the smell of salty piss covered wetsuits, my skin as red as a pig over the spit, my hooves darker than then the rest of my bodyā¦.All because of the salty piss covered wetsuits. And the horse made out of old surf wax, withered from the heat.

The flames are billowing out the back of the trucks ass, cause hell I needed some target practice. I was just trying to help them big boys in the fancy suits make some more clouds. They seem to be slithering everywhere these days, greedy little babies wanting more, more, moreā¦.
I m fascinated by the colour ways of truck stops, motels and big Semiās Trucks pin stripes. The name āSnake Oilā was an old term that my dad and his buddies used for the Whiskey in their flasks up in the back country snowmobiling. This drawing took a long time, I started in November and have re-drawn horses and flames several times. Doubt is an evil son of gun. So hereās to new years, change and leaning into all of the creative process once again.

Truth is I like the sound of a match striking, fire pissing out itās head. But when them pissing flames turn into a wildfire up the hill, you start to question what draws you to the flame. Get too close and youāre sure to get burnt. Global warming has the whole joint lit up and my horse has few oil leaksā¦good thing this is a dream, and blood drys.
I look up and the only thing resembling a cross is the damn power pole, the tarmac stinks of civilisation and it ruins the back drop of my western, wild aināt so wild no moreā¦
