After a big injury this winter it is time to be back racing this weekend. Was just a difficult winter after not knowing last season why some races just didn’t go like I wanted because the legs felt already empty before the race even started,and not knowing why. Than after some searching with a lot of people we knew it than what the problem was. Then I want to start training again but had a big knee injury that took my out for months of training this winter. And than losing one of your best friends. Yeah can’t really describe what for a though period it was for me but also for other people.
But than after surgery in november and months riding on the turbo, going to spain to train and having good time with teammates, friends and family. It is time to pin my number on again Sunday. Not knowing how my condition and my knee will be during the race but just happy to be back and looking forward to it🤙🏼

After the European Championship I decided to end my season. After my fall in Eroica everything was up and down, after a long search we also know why I almost never reached the level I was before. Now it’s just a matter of resting and letting everything recover. And looking forward to 2025👀

Paris-Roubaix🇫🇷 and Eroica🇮🇹 nation’s cups.

Starting with Paris Roubaix, which did not go as planned, and after extremely severe stomach complaints🤢, I had to leave the race. And Eroica, after a team time trial, there was also an afternoon ride, but unfortunately there was a huge crash in which I was involved🤕. Tried to reach the finish but had to go straight to the hospital afterwards. After further examinations in Belgium, no fractures were found.

I have now taken some time to fully recover and work towards the next races. Hoping the for some better nations cup races in the upcoming months😅
