Dappled into directing for the first time (still prefer dping lw…), made my first short narrative (which showcased in 3 different countries) and a couple mvs, finally working with crews (no longer a one man operation :’D), and honestly gained a lot more knowledge about my craft/industry (still clueless asf ngl LOL). Butt still, a part of me also feels pretty inadequate about my work :P Ofc proud of what I was able to make with what I had, butt I’m not quite where I wanna be. Still have a lot to learn, butt I trust that it’s going there 😌 We’ll see what this year teaches me 😋🙏

Back in middle school, a car I had always admired was the Honda NSX Type-R. Coming from that source, I wanted to capture the spirit of Honda's message with what I imagine the warmth of fatherhood together, drawing parallels through working on cars. Like depending on a father, Honda is there for you from start to finish. Special thanks to my friends Edwin and Matthew for letting me intrude on their homes at the last minute to film. And of course Aaron for lending us the S2000, Hayden for the leads, Sydney for the amazing PD, Billy for covering, and Xander for that dinner siphon for Chiles. What a wild ride it's been, what started back in Thanksgiving break from a random call about a DFI special right when I was trying to recover financially, to executing almost half of the pre-production in 4 hours, to then having the privilege to work with such an elite crew all while severely sleep deprived and sick, was truly something else. One of my proudest works yet, hope you enjoy, Godspeed.
