I’ve been trying out Dehancer as one of my explorations in capturing a film-like aesthetic. The film profiles are solid starting points with extra control to further shape the grade. Textural tools provide good renditions of grain structure, whilst some tools like halation and bloom tend to feel too stylistic or artificial for my taste. I do much prefer for the tools to have dedicated impact sliders for each feature to allow more creative freedom in blending the different intensities together.
Good grades still need manual fine tuning, proper attention to detail, and a solid vision to support the story. Still, Dehancer is a great plugin if you’re trying out to experiment with various emulation looks.

Haven't created anything card-related in over a year and figured this was the right time to get back on the saddle. I've been brainstorming a lot of new ideas to incorporate cardistry in a different way, here's an experimentation of mixing cardistry into some surrealist themes. Still not a lot of few moves, some new ideas here and there, working on some new stuff for the next video.
Figured the Thermals by @missingnewyork worked quite well with the aesthetic. Hope I can make more of these consistently in the future.
