As usual, I used Traktor, combined with a return chain through Ableton. The return chain includes Reverb, EQ, Distortion, more EQ, and a Limiter. The recording was done via Ableton, using the Mix 2 output of my Xone 92 mixer. Before recording, I checked levels, ensured enough headroom, and „mastered“ the mix in Ableton with some light compression.
The track selection follows harmonic mixing principles, using additional tracks for quick key and melody transitions.

Hey everyone, I’m back with new music!
After giving it some thought, I’ve decided to launch a new podcast series to express my creativity. As many of you know, I’m a bit of a perfectionist, which is why it took me some time to come up with the perfect concept and fitting promotional content.
Introducing the ‘Challenger Series’, where I’ll be regularly dropping new studio mixes
For the first mix it‘s all about high energy techno. I’ve curated tracks that take me back to Reaktor’s ‘Katharsis’ event, which I attended in 2019 in Amsterdam.
The challenge I set for myself was to recreate the intense feeling I experienced during Katharsis - no long breaks, thundering kick drums, and seamless transitions throughout.

Rom ist komplett absurd. Jedes zweite Gebäude ist der absolute Knaller und dann mittendrin viel zu heftige Sehenswürdigkeiten.
