I’m excited to share that Bristol Legacy Foundation is recruiting for two new roles as we continue building the organisation and deepening our work.
We are currently looking for a:
✨ Community Engagement Mobiliser
✨ Administrator
BLF’s work sits across reparatory justice, remembrance, education, culture and community empowerment, and these roles will play an important part in helping shape the organisation’s next chapter.
If you’re someone who cares about community-rooted change, heritage, equity and meaningful impact or know someone who does, I’d really encourage you to take a look.

Really pleased to have appointed Hannah John as Interim CEO of @bristolegacyfdn .
@wynservices is a young, strong leader with a clear sense of purpose and the ability to translate vision into delivery. She brings a powerful combination of cultural insight and operational discipline, exactly what’s needed as we move into this next phase. Her track record of turning values-led ambition into tangible outcomes gives me real confidence in what we can build under her leadership.
This appointment also speaks to something bigger. We need to see more young leaders stepping into positions of real influence, not just being prepared for them. Creating those pathways, and backing people to lead now, is how we drive meaningful, long-term change.
Excited for what’s ahead.

Bristol Legacy Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Hannah John, as Interim Chief Executive Officer.
Hannah John brings a blend of cultural vision and operational rigour to the Interim CEO role. She has built her career at the intersection of art, storytelling, and social justice. Her former leadership role at Black Cultural Archives, her work with international cultural dialogue through the British Council, and her governance roles have all sharpened the same core strength, helping mission‑driven institutions turn big, values‑led ambitions into structures, systems and programmes that actually work for communities on the ground.
Asher Craig, Chair of the Board of Trustees, said:
“We are delighted to have Hannah on board to lead us through this next stage. I always knew I wanted someone from the next generation to lead BLF, and as I spoke of opening doors for others at the Bristol Women in Business Charter Awards, Hannah’s appointment allows me to see it in reality. The blend of strategy and vision she brings is exciting, and we as a Board look forward to working with her.”
Join us in welcoming her!
