My submission to the SUSI-Q Gallery is a pair of woodwork owls. I made the image with StarryAI, then separated the colors into flat shapes with GIMP, then cut them from plywood and manufactured wood with the CNC Router and laser cutter at UMaker Makerspace. Then it was just a matter of staining and gluing the pieces together.
This hurts. I've lost a lot of pets over the years, but this really hurts. Onyx was a 7-year old 20 pound muscovy duck who would climb up on my arm whenever I asked him, and he would let out visitors pet him, wagging his tail, enjoying the attention. I found him dead from a coyote or raccon attack today at sunrise and buried his body in our pet cemetery with so many others, including his twin brother Obsidian, who died similarly a couple years ago, shown here in the background. Everybody, go find someone you love and tell them you love them today.
This is what would have happened if Little Bobby Fisher had played chess with Salvadore Dali. I designed the board using software called GIMP. Then at @umakersmakerspace I printed it out on the large format printer and 3D printed the open-source chess pieces. They are configured the same as the final move when Bobby won "The Game of the Century". This is now on exhibit at @lagunabeachseniors . Yay!
I'm still fiddling with AI-art, although it is tough to keep up with the rapid advancements in the technology.
Lately I'm doing some mature romantic stuff on Deviant Art and CHYOA (CHoose Your Own Adult Adventure).
(If I recall correctly, this one was made with the help of Unstability.ai.)
#dragoncon2023 The Masquerade was a blast! There is SO MUCH love and positivity shared among the denizens, helping each other with our costumes and our emotions. Blowing kisses to all! #dragoncon #masquerade #dragonconmasquerade2023
