This week I went on a Dine Around tour hosted by
@wyejunction , a new luxury apartment in
@downtowndurham 🌆
✨ The evening featured a guided tour led by
@preservationdurham which highlighted the history of the old City Garage and the 100 year anniversary of the Fire Tower. We even got to explore the first three levels of the tower which was such a neat experience!
🥟 We started at
@atomicclockbrewing . Every Thursday they offer a handmade empanada special with a beer for $10. We tried their beef and cheese empanadas which is one of the most popular ones - can confirm it was delicious!
🍕 Next up was family style dining at
@timberpizzaco_raleighdurham . We all shared about six different pies along with a fun cocktail/ mocktail drink from their menu!
🎨 Local artist
@bccrabtreeart was selected to paint a Durham themed mural on the oil drum. It was so fun to talk with him about the process and his designs. He is close to finishing the project and it looks beautiful!
🎶 Our final dining spot was
@thebluenotegrillnc . We loved talking with the husband and wife duo who own the restaurant and learning about their recipes. They had a variety of barbecue, coleslaw, baked beans, bread pudding and margaritas for us to enjoy! We got to peek at the live band performance one our way out!
🌇 We ended the night touring the
@wyejunction building to see their amenities and a model unit. We ended on the sky view lounge with a breathtaking view of downtown which included a baseball game at the old athletic park.
