We had a blast at @wookiesinthewoods 2026 and can't wait to come back to the Great Smoky Mountains in North Carolina & Tennessee. With some of the best weather we've ever had in recent memory and a great turnout of attendees and sponsors, this was definitely one for the books as a note-worthy entry in the long history of WITW. Getting some driving in with our Stage 3 TTRS build on the Dragon this week has been fantastic, with the vehicle hardware combined with our software package performing exactly as expected, if we do say so ourselves! Cole started a remote Flex Fuel ECU and TCU tune with us on his GTI equipped with a Mamba 3071r, but wanted to get on the dyno for a quick 1 hour session to really optimize and see what we could push further in a safe and controlled environment. This is another example of what these cars are capable of with proper supporting modifications and calibration, when looking to push further than the average stock engine numbers. The tires on the vehicle were swapped out from a stickier set to something more suited to be driven to and on the dyno, but they had a lot of vibration on the rollers due to some excess wear. In these cases, we must use smoothing to really see what it's putting down, which you can see comparing the baseline run to the final run, with a bit more power overall and on the top end of things. We were able to refine some fueling as well as add a bit more power on the top end of the powerband, and adjust shift points in person to optimize the driving enjoyment with the car! New chapter unlocked. ๐Ÿ”ฅ After a long journey with this build, it was finally time to take things to the next level โ€” not just for power, but for a smoother and more controlled drive. Switched my Audi S3 over to @wundertuning , and the difference is unrealโ€ฆ faster, sharper, and more safely than before. The car feels completely transformed โ€” smoother, more responsive, and the way it builds boost now is just insane. Power comes in quicker, cleaner, and more aggressive than ever. This isnโ€™t just an update โ€” itโ€™s a whole new personality. Huge thanks to Stephen for the incredible tune and attention to detail โ€” you took this build to a level I didnโ€™t even know it could reach. Colby stopped down at the dyno with his Green GTI sporting an Arashi 3071R, to see where we could push the limits to on the stock engine setup, which we absolutely did! This is a simple setup that just works -- The right hardware, with the right software, which will only improve with more data from the vehicle to dial in the boost by gear and no lift shift further, for optimal performance in the lower gears! Trey decided to stop in with his S3 for a Custom Stage 1 93 Octane tune due to an upgraded downpipe being installed in the vehicle, but the remainder of the parts being stock, such as the intake and intercooler. We got it on the rollers, flashed our standard Stage 1 ECU and TCU Calibration, then tweaked the boost control and fueling as needed for a strong powerband. We took it out for a drive to ensure the client was satisfied with the results and the feedback was fantastic, everything we want to hear. We spoke with Joshua about some issues he was having with his car on launch control prior to ever talking about tuning support. He opted to install an IS38 with an upgraded clutch and then came back to us to discuss tuning options and how support looked with our services. We worked our way from E30 with the IS38 on the stock fuel system all the way to E85 with port injection! This is our enhanced Stage 2 Ethanol tune that we offer, with some additional custom improvements, but with a small difference -- we require port injection (MPI) to run full E85 blends to make SAFE power without any risk of dangerous fuel cuts caused by overly aggressive calibrations. With a very simple and cost effective setup, this is recording some serious times without breaking the bank! Dyno Day for the AWD GLI Just shy of 470whp but tbh Iโ€™m quite happy where Iโ€™m at. Big thanks to Stephen Wunder @wundertuning and @cheito_performance for letting me use the dyno. Alex made the trip out to our dyno for an in person upgrade to Flex Fuel on his Mk7.5 GTI, which gave us the opportunity to get a baseline of where the car was on pump gas as well as review the process and power gains! This was kept more conservative even with the built engine from our partners @bcpmotorsports to ensure that the upgraded clutch was kept happy with the added torque, until a beefier unit can eventually be installed. Here is an example of what an 8V RS3 or TTRS puts down on the dyno with basic modifications and 93 Octane fuel, utilizing our OTS Stage 2 calibrations! This one opted to install an Intake, Inlet, Intercooler, Downpipe and Midpipes while retaining the stock catback exhaust.
