For one night, the four corners of our space became home to stories waiting to be told, emotions long kept silent, and voices finally given room to breathe.
Through Spoken From The South, The South Spoken Collective (
@thesouthspokencollective ) continues to create space for poets, artists, and creatives across the South to gather, express, and simply be. Surrounded by attentive, open-hearted listeners, every piece shared that night felt deeply personal yet collectively understood.
As shared by the director of The South Spoken Collective,
@not_wacky :
âSpoken From The South was never something we tried to label as a movement. It is something we chose to build and grow, right here for Southies, starting from a simple question. If we have space, if we have voices, what can we create together ba?
So Iâd rather label it as an act of staying. We rooted ourselves deeper in the South, nurturing a space where creatives can gather, share, and be seen. What it becomes is still unfolding, shaped by every storyteller who continues to show up and grow with it.â
And weâre honored to be one of the spaces where that unfolding continues.
Weâre grateful to once again become part of something rooted in connection, expression, and community. Thank you to The South Spoken Collective team for choosing our space, and to everyone who came, listened, shared, and stayed.
This is what we believe in, creating spaces where people feel seen, heard, and connected.
