It is officially race week and we can't be more pleased with the turn out. So many newcomers have joined us for the first official round of the 2026 Western Touring Car Championship.
32 car field spread with veteran National Champions, amateur club racer and fresh beginners to road racing. There should be plenty of action from the front to the back of the field.

Hi it’s me. It’s finally race week again 😂 This time we’re heading to @thunderhillracewaypark for the first time ever! Also probably the furthest trip I’ve been to so far. @wtccracing is looking very competitive, with 22 touring cars registered for wheel to wheel battle so far.
There’s more than just racing too, drifting, vendors, music, and an overall festival vibe.
Big thanks to @camberandcaster for continuing to support me and the program. Excited to try out some new settings 🔧 ⚙️ from @rta_autoservice as well as some more refined driving techniques from @afracing126 👀. I also heard they added an HPDE run group if anyone wants to come drive as well !
Thunderhill Open is May 15–17 and you should be there.

Race One of the KBBQ Scrimmage with Cal Club SCCA saw a BMW E46M sweep.
Anthony Zwaine taking P1 with @matt.ales taking 2nd place and @guzag2 rounding out 3rd place.
They all won KBBQ contingency at the end of the day.

P5 finish on Saturday! Finally got a decent result. Made it my goal to not mess up quali since I always start from the back. Started seventh. They had us doing 30 minute sprint races in 90+ degree weather this weekend which helped validate the car works well, however I had a DNF on Sunday due to a blown axle, just something to work on. I want to thank @afracing126 for massively helping me with driver development, we started working in the sim and are now putting those practices to use in real life. Thank you @dwreyyes for helping me run side quests all weekend. Thanks to our sponsor @camberandcaster for coming on board on such a late notice. Thank you @rta_autoservice for always dialing in the car for me last minute. Shoutout to @atype.ant for always letting me use his race trailer, if you’re in SoCal and need one for your track days hit him up! We are super excited about how the b48 e36 test went! It was the last piece of the video series on what it takes to do the swap in an e36. Be on the lookout for the first of three videos about this build and the parts needed to do it. That said, we are excited to keep testing it in preparation for this years @gridlifeofficial GLTC series. #garagistic #bmw #e36
