Great news guys! We have now added powder coating to our list of services! We always strive to keep as much in house as possible so we can control quality and lead times! R53 race engine completed, forged bottom end, full rotating assembly balance along with knife edge crankshaft, ARP main stud kit, baffled sump, full supertech big valve head with beehive springs and titanium retainer kit. Some pictures of recents works completed in january, fruity little 1.9 Peugeot head ported and machined up. Mazda mx-5 head reconditioned, nice spec A series ported machined and rebuilt with all new parts, jag head in for a check over and reface along with the block we forgot to picture, saucy R53 crank being machined destined for a full build (more to come on that) couple of R53 blocks being rebored, honed and refaced. One for the up coming in house build and the other back to the customer ready for build. Stacked out currently with R53 big valve head conversions. As from next week we are going to try and keep up with socials and hopefully post a couple of times a week. Here’s a little clip of multi angle valve seat cutting on this classic alfa cylinder head that’s in for a full recondition. We’ve converted from old agricultural width, 30 degree seat on the exhaust to a modern 3 angle 45 degree. This process always follows on from valve guide replacement to bring the valve and guide back inline ensuring 100% concentricity. As you can see to results are perfect, with no lapping required and great sealing with no seal or springs fitted. #enginereconditioning #valveseatcutting #engineering
