2026 is the year of the true thinkers- those who are willing to sit with a thought or feeling and explore and uncover it to no end.

Happy Thinking ❤️🌟
Welcome to Write Club !!
A digital reimagining of the initial Write Club launched last year. A space to inspire and be inspired. Calling everyone to write into the void and be part of something in their wake. Platforming a range of voices for those who want to listen.
Expect journal prompts, book recommendations, interviews, irl sessions and a new home for written pieces that deserve love and attention free from likes, comments, views and everything else we have come to closely associate art with in this new digital age.
Website coming soon.
Write Club is back again at Pipoca vegan in Brixton @pipocavegan bringing you another writing and collaging workshop. This time we’re looking at letter writing.
‘Bring back physical media’ has become a bit of a buzz slogan but over at Write Club we wanted to get in on the physical media fun in a way that is still meaningful and personal.
The prompts will be surrounding your hopes and wishes for the person you’re writing to. As usual these prompts serve as just a guide, the freedom and duty is yours to write whatever you like. Postage in England and to selected countries will be covered by Write Club and materials, including envelopes and a custom Write Club wax seal for each letter, will be provided but feel free to bring your own.
(There will be a printer on site to accommodate anyone who might feel more comfortable typing and then printing their letter.)
Really looking forward to seeing you all x
We are so badly back! Starry Nights 003

Some footnote recommendations for you to dive into this week. Recently started reading some bits on @yalereview and have to say they did not disappoint, one piece was featured in this bunch of recommendations.
Also mentioned in these recommendations is a piece written by Write Club for a grassroots Irish Magazine. It was an honour to have been reached out to by Póg Magazine to write a feature piece for issue 02 which is out now so head over to @pogmagazine for more info.
Happy reading 🌟♥️
A new set of prompts for you to ponder on and take time to flesh out!
Moments and pockets of joy are something we can find in our everyday lives if we give ourselves the chance too. Hopefully through meditating on these prompts will you come to realize just how joyous life really is!!
Happy writing! 🌟♥️
What’s Your Niche 002
Last month Write Club asked @angelaconjaerts to go through her niche of psychodynamic psychotherapy and talk to us about her experience navigating the field and getting to where she is today- a qualified psychodynamic psychotherapist (🎉)
The amazing Angela took the time to break down some industry jargon, give tips on when to go to therapy and highlighted the importance of exploring and finding different therapist and frameworks that work for you. She even proofread and sense-checked the transcript post conversation (what a legend!)
Such an insightful and fun chat that I am grateful to have had the opportunity to engage with. Angela can be found at @angelaconjaerts@inbloom.therapy
Full conversation is available on wrtclb.com 🌟♥️
The first of many Write Club Workshops/pop-ups, and definitely won’t be the last.
Two weeks ago Write Club set up shop at the wonderful @pipocavegan in Brixton for an evening of journaling and collaging and what an evening it was! The workshop was completely sold out and even had people calling up the venue to ask for availability!!
Thank you so much to everyone who came through and contributed such lovely energy to the evening and a huge thanks to @pipocavegan for providing such a fitting space, making the workshop possible.
For those of you who came, I hope to see you again and those of you who missed out, don’t worry- theres so much more in store.
WC x♥️🌟
*Plato’s eros because though related to love, these prompts weren’t focused on the romantic or physical but rather loving the beauty of souls and knowledge through self and platonic love*

See you soon ❤️🌟
There seems to be an accidental theme between this bunch, a theme which kind of aligns with the fact that it’s Black History Month (in the US) so actually, I’m not mad at it.
As always, take what you want from these and leave what you don’t. The goal with Weekly Footnotes is to put themes and topics that may have otherwise not been on your radar into your mind and simply just provide new materials for you to engage with.
As always, Happy reading ❤️🌟
Side note: shout out to @mubiuk who are doing a £1 for three months subscription offer!!!! This is not a sponsored post (not yet its not) but if you’re into films, specifically critically acclaimed films, a Mubi sub might be the one for you!!!
(If you see any typos- you didn’t, I’m just one woman tryna steer this big ol’ ship)
