Almost 8 months with our girl 👶🏼
They say you’re never ready…
and that time moves fast.
Both are true in ways I never quite understood until now.
I spent so long waiting to feel ready,
waiting for something in me to click into place.
But it wasn’t until she was here, in my arms,
that everything quietly shifted.
And suddenly, there it was,
a love deeper than I knew existed,
a calm I’d never felt before,
a life that somehow feels exactly as it’s meant to be.
Each day she changes, grows, becomes more herself…
and I find myself trying to hold onto the moments
while letting them pass all at once.
With this love has come a quiet, fierce protectiveness.
A pull to hold some parts of her just a little closer.
Because the online world can feel like a scary place sometimes,
for now we’re keeping her face off this space,
something sacred, just for her, just for us
Because time really does slip through your fingers,
and it already feels like those tiny newborn days
were just yesterday.
So I’m here, in it all,
grateful beyond words for this season,
this little life,
and the quiet magic of being her mum 💛✨
Keeping our New Year’s Day traditions alive — sunrise, reflection, and setting goals for the year ahead.
This year looks a little different, with the very best thing to come out of 2025 by our side… our Billie girl! 💞

In the darkest moments, hope shone through. Like the incredible moment, a beloved pet was found alive after being swept away by the raging floodwaters. It’s these small yet powerful glimmers of resilience, survival, and love that carried us through the devastation. They reminded us that even in the face of disaster, hope finds a way to rise.
Every story of survival, every act of kindness, and every moment of strength became the foundation of our journey forward. This is what Washed Away is about capturing the spirit of a community that refused to be broken.
As we approach three years, we know it's still tough for too many. Our hearts are with you.

It’s not all sunshine and rainbows.
It’s easy do to an ice bath when it’s 25 degrees and the suns shining, but on the days when it’s overcast and raining, the wind is howling and you’re presented with more reasons not to do it than to do it, this is when you need it most. Dig deep, meet the challenge with a smile, find that inner power and enjoy the ability to take control of your thoughts and emotions. Control your response the stress of the challenge and know that you’re capable of anything!
Choose your hard,
I’m sure you’ve heard the saying “hard choices = an easy life and Easy choices = a hard life”
Choosing cold exposure first thing in the morning means I have overcome the hardest part of my day first setting myself up to have a great day and to be better able to deal with any other ‘hard’ things that come my way.
Like working a muscle at the gym, I’m also actively strengthening my mental resilience and wellness.
The level of resistance we face from the mind chatter and the ego trying to keep you ‘Safe’ and in the ‘familiar’ is a profound force that prevents many people from achieving their dreams.
Choose the hard thing, strengthen your mental and physical resilience, become the person you know you can be and watch your dreams unfold before you!
You are so much more capable than you will ever know!
Here we are!
