Wrexham residents are being invited to share their views as part of a review for Wrexham’s Active Travel Network Map (ATNM).
The review will help identify priorities for future improvements to walking, wheeling and cycling routes across Wrexham County borough, including existing routes, possible new routes and areas where improvements can be made.

New Creative Hub coworking space to launch at The Old Library
A new Creative Hub coworking space is set to launch at The Old Library in Wrexham this June, offering local creative and digital business a new place to work, connect and collaborate.
Located upstairs at The Old Library in Queen’s Square, the new coworking space will provide a dedicated hub for people working across the creative industries, with a monthly membership scheme launching from June 1.
Ahead of the membership launch, The Old Library will be hosting a series of free May ‘Taster Days’, giving people the chance to try out the space, meet other like-minded businesses and find out more about what the Creative Hub has to offer.

Wrexham Playday 2026!
Wrexham will once again be celebrating National Playday in August.
The event will be held in Wrexham city centre on August 5, located on Queens Square and Llwyn Isaf (Guildhall field), the event will begin at 12pm and finish at 4pm.
Playday is for people of all ages from babies to grandparents, and all are invited to join in this free and playful event.
Visit Hwb Cymraeg during Focus Wales 2026
Visitors to this year’s FOCUS Wales are being encouraged to call in at Hwb Cymraeg, located on Queen’s Square during the festival weekend.
Running throughout FOCUS Wales 2026, Hwb Cymraeg will once again provide a welcoming, relaxed and inclusive space for people to come together, enjoy the atmosphere of the festival and experience the Welsh language in an informal and friendly setting.
Open daily from 9:30am-10pm, Hwb Cymraeg is an ideal place for learners and new speakers to build confidence and practice their Cymraeg, refreshments are also available throughout the day.
The programme includes a wide variety of music, conversational sessions and family-friendly activities, helping to create a bilingual space that is open to everyone – not just Welsh speakers.
Celebrating local #heritage at @wrexhamlibraries Clip Corner 🙂
#WrexhamLibrary’s Clip Corner is now giving visitors access to a unique collection of Welsh broadcasting and film history.
Part of the Wales Broadcast Archive project led by The National #Library of Wales, the Clip Corner allows people to explore a wide range of digitised film, video and audio from across Wales.
While some content is available online through Clip Cymru, and just over 1000 clips accessible from home, the wider archive can only be viewed at selected Clip Corner locations, such as #Wrexham Library.
The Clip Corner is free to access during Wrexham Library opening hours, Monday – Friday 9am-6pm and Saturdays 9am-4pm, with no need to book.
Groups are advised to discuss dates, times and requirements with the library first if they would like to visit the Clip corner.
