Taking care of bear with his degenerative myelopathy (ALS) diagnosis over the past almost two years has been the most important moment of my entire life. It has been both a heart wrenching but mostly heart opening honor to care for him. And what a privilege to be able to care for a being that you love so deeply. I have so much gratitude that my body and work structure and support from friends has allowed me to care for him this whole time. I go back and forth btwn wanting to share more of this experience and at the same time wanting to hold it so close to me as it can feel too sacred to share on the internet. I am going to attempt to share both bear and lulus lives with me at @bearbearandlulu if u feel so inclined to witness. But also be prepared that I may delete at any moment:) or never post. We shall see ❤️
