Community bonds aren’t just a financial tool — they’re a catalyst for doing things differently. WRCF’s Investor Impact Report with @houseoffriendshipwr and @svxsocialventureconnexion shares what we learned from using a community bond to fund critical social infrastructure. The takeaway? With trusted partners, clear purpose, and a willingness to innovate, community bonds can open entirely new pathways for community impact. This work builds momentum for future social finance projects across the region — and shows that innovation in Waterloo Region isn’t theoretical. It’s happening right now.
