For the tenth edition of Sonisk Selskap, “How did we get here?”, Kjetil Møster has assembled an ensemble consisting of vocals, electronic instruments, bass, guitar and drums, in addition to Møster’s woodwind instruments. They will, among other things, take inspiration from the No wave movement of the 70s, and explore immediate and direct ways of interacting.
After two days of sonic experimentation in Wrap’s AV Lab, with a full technical crew led by sound engineer Leo Preston, the musicians are now joined by dancers from ImproLaBergen and visual artist Gillian Carson, for an interdisciplinary concert.
Audio and video-over-network technology will connect performers in different rooms from across the venue, and the audience will experience an intense audiovisual concert with projections of the dancers and visual artist taking inspiration from the music in real time from other rooms. #soniskselskap #impromusic #interdisciplinary #interdisciplinaryart
