MEET THE RESIDENTS ✧ MAY 2026
Petr Dlouhý is a Prague-based curator, researcher, producer, and host in the field of independent performing arts. Working within diverse scales ranging from DIY initiatives to established institutions, his activities aim to break the spell of gatekept resources and build structures of mutual support. His tools utilise event organising, tarot readings, and community building. Petr's interests are nourished by projects that embrace curiosity, social justice, and mutual learning.
During his residency, Petr continues to unwrap his research on Hospitality in Performing Arts. Applying the lens of hospitality to his curatorial practice, he searches for pathways to nurture a welcoming culture of institutions towards artists, audiences and fellow culture workers. Throughout the research, he names and identifies different tools that can be used to form stronger relationships and embrace the sense of belonging.
What happens when craftsmanship, stories, and movement come together?
Einat Tuchman and Yassin Mrabtifi share the story behind Urban Rituals & Bildy Market: two projects creating space for connection, creativity, and community.
From handmade stories at the market to a participatory dance ritual where people from different backgrounds move together: art becomes a way to strengthen community.

Where did all the people go?
This text by 𝗣𝗲𝘁𝗿 𝗗𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗵ý starts from a simple but structural question: what happens when cultural institutions lose their audiences as they become parents?
Developed within 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗼 𝗔𝗟𝗧𝗔, the Parent Friendly Culture platform challenges the ways institutions organise themselves, exposing how existing formats exclude entire groups from participation.
Through small but concrete shifts, from childcare and timing to spatial and social adjustments, the project rethinks accessibility not as an add on, but as a political question of who culture is for, and who gets to be present within it. On Mobilisation project, ran from 2023 to 2025 and was shaped through bottom up collaboration between 𝘄𝗽𝗭𝗶𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿, 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗿𝘁 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿, 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗼 𝗔𝗟𝗧𝗔 and 𝗟𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮 𝗮 𝗩𝗮𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗲.
