It’s that time of year again! The City is getting ready for hurricane season with its annual training exercise, enabling staff to participate in a realistic post-storm recovery drill. 🚧🌪️ Several City departments take part in the training, including Public Works, Utilities, @wpbfire , and Parks and Rec!
During this year’s simulation for “Hurricane Gordo,” staff cleared out tons of debris and assisted “residents” (actors played by other staff!) while navigating downed power lines, hazardous conditions, and other staged obstacles!
